Kitted out with a built-in amplifier module, the Devine Axeo 15SA Subwoofer comes fully calibrated to back up a standard set of PA speakers with some necessary low-end. Combine one or two Axeo 15SA subs with a set of 10 inch or 12 inch satellites, hook up an input signal from gear like a PA mixer, a DJ mixer or a DJ console and you're virtually set up already.

The Professional Choice

The Axeo 15SA sub supplies every feature you need. The on-board amplifier module is accessed via the rear panel, where stereo inputs and outputs have been fitted, so you can connect up your audio source. The sub automatically splits the input signal, reproducing the low-end frequencies itself before passing the mids and trebles onto the connected 10 inch or 12 inch active speakers via the outputs. This immediately gives the higher frequency range more breathing room, resulting in a speaker system that doesn't just sound more full but is capable of pushing more volume. The rear panel also hands users control over the subwoofer volume level and the crossover frequency, which can be adjusted from 40 to 250 Hertz, where a crossover point of around 100 to 120 Hertz gives you the optimum balance.

Solid Construction

This bass bin is fully protected by a strong cabinet made from 15mm thick MDF panels finished with scratch-resistance lacquer and fitted with a metal front grille that guards the woofer and more sensitive internal components. Practical side handles make loading and positioning that bit easer, but since this model weighs in at 30 kilos, it can also be loaded onto a wheel board or dolly. The upper side of the Axeo 15SA has also been fitted with an M20 mounting point, so a distance rod can be screwed in place to support an active speaker, improving the audio dispersion and performance.
